Alain Milot est médecin spécialiste en médecine interne à l'Hôpital Saint-François d'Assise où il y dirige le groupe de médecine vasculaire du Centre des maladies vasculaires.

Ses projets de recherche clinique et épidémiologique portent, notamment, sur l'étude des relations entre les contraintes psychosociales au travail, les facteurs de risque cardiovasculaires, les maladies cardiovasculaires et les fonctions cognitives.
